Divorce or other Loss, contemplating a new Job or Relationship, Seeking the next step in life, or Feeling in a rut are good reasons to seek coaching. What’s next? How do I get where I want to go? What’s the best decision? How can I ask my people for what I need? What are you asking today? What are you Seeking?

Where does your next path lead?

REVEALING THE MYSTERY

Sometimes you know you need something different, but aren’t sure where to start. Whether you are clear on your direction and need some guidance on how to get there, or goal seeking for a new direction, Somatic Coaching is a beautiful way to tap into your body’s quiet wisdom. Our soma (body) holds the memory and habits of our shaping (how we were raised, by family/culture). One reason change can be challenging is that even when we want it, we can get stuck by our habitual ways of being and communicating.

A special note on voice work:

I have had a long career as a singing coach, and I still work with singers, and people who want to sing. The non-music side of voice work can be practicing vocalizing needs and desires, verbalizing your boundaries, using your voice to express (identifying the sensations of emotions and moving the energy of emotions out) through shouting, laughing, crying. The source of our creativity and expression lives in our throat chakra; it is OUR VOICE.

AND, if you’re interested in singing, that is available to you too.
Singing is primal. If you were told to stop singing, or that you couldn’t sing, early on, I’m sorry that happened to you. Everyone CAN sing. It’s also like any other skill. If you want to learn more about how singing works, it’s not too dissimilar from tennis or golf lessons. Our instrument is in our body.

Either way, you will be invited to Studio Gatherings: some Tuesday (some Wed) evenings. We gather to share songs, sing songs together, learn Harmony, practice Confidence and Performing, and integrate our Somatic Body Work practices into Nervous System regulation. Occasionally we use Songwriting exercises for creative and expressive flow!

Are you ready to dig in? I want to know about you.
